I have and love Naked Basics, a palette with all matte neutrals. Naked 2 Basics is supposed to be the same concept with cooler tones, so of course I had to have this right away.

Naked 2 Basics colors--Skimp, Stark, Frisk, Cover, Primal, Undone

Here are swatches on me. I am very fair with neutral to slightly warm undtones. I have to say that I don't agree that all of the colors are cooler toned. In fact, some are quite warm.

Skimp is a pale peach. Stark is a medium peachy orange. Frisk is a cool, mid-toned brown. Cover is a warm mid-toned red brown. Primal is a cool, dark brown. Undone is a gray black.

Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I think I will use the heck out of Frisk and Primal. But I am surprised how warm some of the shades like Stark and Cover are.

Many of you are probably wondering how this compares with Naked Basics, so here's my comparison.

Overall, they are very close. The biggest difference is that the
lightest color in Naked 2 Basics is near equivalent to the third
lightest shade in Naked Basics and Naked 2 Basics has two extra mid-tones that Naked Basics doesn't have.

For swatches, I tried to line the colors up with the color they match in the other palette. They're all still in order, but I left space to make it easier to compare the dupes.

As I said, the biggest difference is that the lightest color in Naked 2 Basics is
near equivalent to the third lightest shade in Naked Basics. Naked
Basics has Venus (near white) and Foxy (pale yellow) that Naked 2 Basics
does not have an equivalent or alternative to. WOS
(Naked Basics) and Skimp (Naked 2 Basics) are pretty much dupes of each
other. Even right up next to each other, I can't see much difference.
They're both peach. I guess if I had to say something Skimp is a bit
pinker, but still peach.

Naked 2 Basics has two colors that
Naked Basics doesn't have an equivalent of as well. They are Stark
(second color in Naked 2 Basics, a peachy orange) and Cover (fourth
color in Naked 2 Basics, a reddish brown). Stark is much more peachy
orange than I expected from the pink description on the UD site. It is
NOT pink at all. Cover reminds me of a darker, browner version of Tease
from Naked 2 but some of that same tone comes through.

Naked 2
(the color from Naked Basics not the palette, geez that's confusing)
and Frisk (Naked 2 Basics) were the two I was most interested in
comparing because I use Naked 2 almost daily. Frisk is slightly lighter
and a bit more cool-toned than Naked 2. I also feel Faint (Naked
Basics) and Primal (Naked 2 Basics) are pretty comparable. They are
pretty close in intensity but Primal is cooler-toned. Crave (Naked
Basics) and Undone (Naked 2 Basics) are interchangeable on someone as
pale as me. Crave is slightly blacker and Undone is slightly grayer,
but they're both just going to look black on my eyes and even swatched
next to each other they are hard to tell apart.

Do you need
both? No. They are pretty close. Am I glad I have both? Yes. I love
the colors Naked 2 and Faint from Naked Basics and know I'm going to
love having the color-toned options of Frisk and Primal from Naked 2
Basics. If you're going to get only one, which one should you get? If
you want more light colors, get Naked Basics. If you want more
mid-tones, get Naked 2 Basics. Although Frisk and Primal are cooler
than Naked 2 and Faint, the rest of the colors in Naked 2 Basics are not
really cool-toned. Stark and Cover have a lot of warmth to them on me.

SirenPrincess Beauty Rating: A- Great pigmentation but not all the colors are cool-toned as advertised
It's rare for me to be this excited about something, but it's seriously that good. If you like the books or movie, you are going to love this. If you've never heard of the books or movie, go check it out, but you're still going to love the make-up. Plus, it's actually a really good deal when you consider all you're getting. I am blown away with the quality of this product and how well they've tied in things from the film/books.
You get 3 eyeshadow palettes, 1 cheek palette, 4 lip glosses, and a dual-ended brush for $59. The set is exclusive to Sephora and is currently sold out online and at a lot of stores. If it's sold out in your area, try Sephora inside JCPenney. They still had several in my area.

The box is HUGE, but even the big container box has lots of elements to show that a lot of attention to detail went into this product. The ferris wheel from the movie is on the box. The ferris wheel has raised spokes so you can feel them as you run your hand along the box.
The box opening is at an angle, and there is just enough room to show a rainbow/holographic type pattern in the slant for the opening.

The eyeshadow palettes themselves are SO neat. This may well be the most fun and playful make-up I own. There are three eyeshadow palettes, and each one is themed after one of the factions from the movie/books. Each faction has their own style, and the palettes match those styles beautifully. But the coolest part is that each one also has a unique divergent color that's a glitter transformation shade. The names are things like 'choose', 'diverge', 'transform'. The packaging says that they're meant to represent the mirror themes from the movie in their colors and they do different things wet and dry. They're meant to go over the tops of the other colors to change them, and I can say they do amazing, magical things when you use them in combination with the other colors. Each transform color snaps off (at an angle too!) so that you can choose which faction it belongs with (how cool is that?!) and also mix and match the palettes that way. I'd seen the snap off feature before, but I didn't realize how well made they are. The angle movement for the diverging is cool, and there's a raised piece of metal at the split-off point. The packaging just feels luxe and not cheap in your hand. The best part is there are so many things that you can do with the transform shades. If you consider you can pair all three transform colors with all 12 other shadows and do them all wet and dry for different effects, well, you could play with this palettes for weeks and still never do the same thing twice!
I love lip gloss, so I am also loving that this set comes with 4 glosses. And I also really love the brush. I was worried about the quality of the brush, certain it would shed. I was wrong. It's a very high quality brush and I am so happy to have it in my collection.

This is one set that I don't think really shows across in pictures how nice it really is. If you get the opportunity to buy one, you should.

I also really loved the movie too, if anyone was curious.
I find it interesting the Anastasia ones are very sparkly. But my actual
brows do have a sparkle to the hairs, so maybe it's trying to replicate
that? The Bobbi blonde has a warmth to it that actually looks pretty
good on me. The Blinc dark blonde was VERY dark on me. Husband asked me
if I'd put black in my eyebrows. The Blinc medium blonde was pretty
close but has an odd cool tone to it.

I moved all of my Shiro samples to mini jars today. For reference, the
samples (1/4 teaspoon) come in little baggies for $1. You can buy a mini
jar (1 Gram) there for ~$3.50 and a big jar (2 Gram) there for ~$6. If
you like the eyeshadow for the fandom component, you definitely want to
buy the large jars. Only the large jars come with artwork. Look at the
beautiful artwork too! But if you just want the eyeshadow color, the
$1 samples are an amazing deal!

I bought these mini jars from Amazon for about $10. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CFAN0LE/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Then I could easily peel the sticker off the baggie and stick it to the
bottom of the mini jar. The stickers stayed sticky and just needed
transferred. Open up the baggie and directly pour into the mini jar,
snap on a filter and lid, and I have what looks to me nearly identical
to the mini jars they sell on the site. You really do get a good amount
of eyeshadow for that dollar. It wasn't even all that messy. That
paper towel is before I cleaned up anything.
I am addicted to these little things. They are usually with a $125-$150 purchase on the Bobbi Brown or department store websites. They are tiny, and I LOVE that. I've photographed them next to my Sephora VIB rouge card so you can get an idea of size. These little things are no bigger than a credit card in width and length and maybe the size of two or three together for depth. But you get a decent amount of product in them. They are perfect for tossing in your purse for make-up on the go or for taking for travel. If you could just buy these, I would buy a ton of them.

The one on the left is all eyeshadows. I got it at the Bobbi Brown website recently with a $150 min purchase. That sale is over, but you can currently get one at Neiman Marcus with a $150 Bobbi Brown purchase. This is an incredible deal because you get 8 Bobbi Brown eyeshadows for free! The GWPs also usually include a free mini mascara and small eye cream (not photographed). For me, it doesn't matter that you only get a small amount of eyeshadow. I hardly ever hit pan on anything and this lets me try all of these colors I would normally spend $22 a piece to try each color. I also prefer mini mascaras over full size because even with daily use I won't run out before the 3 month expiration date on open mascara is up.

Colors in the all eyeshadow one are Ivory, Shell, Stone shimmer, Antique Rose, Mica sparkle (note the sparkle shadows are not Bobbi's best formula), Saddle, Petal, and Rich Caviar. The Stone shimmer and Saddle (a cool brown) are ones I am going to have to buy the full size of because they are really nice.

The GWP on the right contains a blush too. It contains all of my favorite every day Bobbi eyeshadows in one tiny compact and the blush, perfect for travel. It's Ivory, Velvet Plum (metallic), Cement (my favorite light every day lid color), and Rich Caviar. The blush is Desert Pink. Desert pink is an intensely pigmented blush so a lot goes a loooong way. Use a stippling brush or a fan brush and only get a tiny bit and it will look good. I use Ivory for all over color, Cement on the lid, and Rich Caviar wet as a liner for a great day look then pat Velvet Plum over the top to convert to evening.

Here's a look I did with Ivory, Stone shimmer, and Saddle:

I personally think these things are amazing. Bobbi Brown, please consider making them available for individual sale! The all eyeshadow GWP was my first palette I used in week 1 of my palette parade. I used it every day for week and you can hardly tell it's been used, so you can get a lot of use out of these. I also didn't get tired of it at all in that week, so there's a good variety of pretty colors in there.
My absolute favorite is The Balm Mary Lou Manizer.

First, I love the adorable packaging and theme. All of The Balm products have cute names and packaging. The Lou Manizer series show cute girls in their mug shots with crimes like highlighting and looking too cute.

Mary Lou is the palest and is a pure highlighter. It has a soft golden color and is pure shimmer. It is the first powder highlighter I've found that has high shimmer but no glitter. I don't know why, but Laura Mercier shimmer block and Bobbi Brown's shimmer brick and brightening brick are all glitter, glitter, glitter on me and just don't look flattering on me. You only need a tiny bit with Mary Lou, so I use a fan brush to pick up a tiny bit of product and brush it very lightly across the top of my cheek bones where I want a highlight. This gives me that Hollywood highlight/contour look I want without looking glittery and out of place in my everyday life. Mary Lou is perfect for pale girls because the golden color really adds no color and just adds the shimmer highlight. It's perfect.

Now the one I'm disappointed in. Cindy Lou Manizer is new, and I was very excited about it. It's supposed to be a peachy highlighter that isn't quite as shimmery as Mary Lou. I was hoping it would be good for a more general highlighter I could use in more places without looking like a light bulb. Bad news, pale girls--it looks like a blush on me. It's a pretty dark peach and would make a good shimmery blush, but it definitely would not work as a highlighter. I also did not find it any less shimmery than Mary Lou.

Finally there is a Betty Lou Manizer that I do not have for pictures but did purchase for my mother. It's a very warm, dark, shimmery bronzer. I do not think this would work at all for us pale girls. It's for darker skin tones that want a warm, glowing look and would not work for contouring. Still, the packaging is adorable and I think it's a great product for darker skin tones.

Here's the pictures of Mary Lou Manizer (on the left) and Cindy Lou Manizer (in the middle). To try to give an idea of the color and darkness of Cindy Lou, I tried putting it next to some products you might be familiar with. I've included The Balm Frat Boy blush, Benefit Rockateur Blush, and a Pixi bronzer.
Her palettes usually contain at least one cream or white shade, some midtone browns, and then a really dark brown that I only ever use as a liner. So here is a comparison of the midtone browns I own swatched on my pale skin. I'll do a separate post of some of the lighter shimmer colors another time. Most of these are the matte browns.

My favorites are Cement and Stone. Cocoa is extremely close to Stone, so the Rich Chocolate palette is almost like getting double the Stone (which is fine by me since I love that color). My least favorite color is Taupe, which oddly is the least taupey to me.

Also, I think I've finally figured out how to tell if a Bobbi palette will have good payout or not. All of the mattes are the best, great payout. The shimmers are all pretty good too. The metalics are usually okay but starting to get to not so great. It's the ones labeled sparkle that are horrible, crumbly, and no color payout. So if a palette is mostly mattes and shimmers, it's going to be a good one. If the palette has a lot of sparkles, I'd stay away.

What's your favorite matte brown eyeshadow? I'd love to hear about it in the comments.

SirenPrincessBeauty Rating: Varies by shade, but in general Bobbi Brown mattes get an A from me.

Disclaimer--I bought these. Saddle is from a GWP. Taupe was sort of free because BobbiBrown.com messed up my order and let me keep it. Otherwise I paid for them all with my own money. You can find the rules and a list of other participants here.

In short, I put all of my palettes and eyeshadow collections in a random number generator to create an order. I will be wearing one palette every day of the week (except weekends) for one week and then moving on to the next palette. This helps assure that all of my palettes get some love, helps me realize how many I have, and helps me decide when it might be time to give a palette away. Weekends are cheat days and can be anything I want. There is a rule that it's okay to add other colors to the palette specified so long as the main look is from the palette, but I've got a few on my list that are only trios, so those I will allow extensive use of other colors so long as the trio is used in some way.

I'm also making it a personal goal to try to blog about each palette the week after I experiment with it. Come on this journey with me!

Here is my list:
I bought mine, and it finally arrived! It launches tonight at Sephora and Ulta's websites. My guess would be it launches at Sephora at 3 AM EST 12/6/2013. If it's sold out there, you might try Urban Decay again because it wouldn't surprise me if they suddenly get more stock when other people start selling it.

Is this a good palette for fair-skinned girls? Let's take a look:

Naked 3 is the sequel to the beloved Urban Decay Naked (bronze colored neutrals) and Naked 2 (taupe colored neutrals). The focus of Naked 3 is rose-toned neutrals.

I do like that this palette includes a couple of mattes in addition to the typical shimmers and metallics. The bottom 4 shades and middle 4 shades are a bit of a repeat of each other, just slightly darker, but I like that you get the choice.

Strange is a good white shade. It's matte unlike some other Naked palettes. Dust is a beautiful pink shimmer. I've read a lot of comments about no color payout. I did not find that to be the case, but it has HORRIBLE fallout, like the worse I've ever seen. It's very hard not to end up with this all over your cheek. Burnout is the satin and Limit is the matte. Then we transition to darker colors. Buzz is a pink shimmer and Trick is a orangy-gold shimmer.

Nooner is a beautiful mutted mauve matte. It's pinker than Tease. I love Tease and am so happy to have this shade. Liar, Factory, and Mugshot are all different tones of browny-silver shimmer. I don't really see the rose in these personally, but I LOVE the shades. They're probably my favorite of the palette. Darkside is grey satin. Blackheart is almost black with rose-colored metalic sparkle. I was so excited to wear this as a liner, but it's much more powdery and doesn't work as well for wet-to-dry liner as I'd like. It looks good, but takes a lot more work to get right than my Bobbi Brown dark shadows.

Let's see how they swatch on my pale skin.

Here's a quick look I did with these. I'm wearing Factory on my lid, Nooner in my crease, a pat of Liar in the center of my lid for more rose color, and Blackheart as a liner. If I were to do this look over again, I'd use a liquid eyeliner to give more definition. Mascara is Almay Get up and Grow and the brows are Bobbi Brown Natural Brow Shaper in Blonde.

Do you need this palette? Probably not. I think Naked 2 is best for people with my coloring. Is this palette fun and will you enjoy it? Absolutely. Rose gold is a very on trend color right now, and it is a very fun palette to play with. I do think this would be a great palette for a teenager, a fashionista, or a make-up lover. I'm very glad I bought it for the fun factor.
Naked 3 palette, currently sold out on UrbanDecay.com, coming tonight to Sephora.com and Ulta.com. *Edit*--They're live on Sephora now! Don't forget to use your Ebates!

Disclaimer: I paid for this palette myself and bought it at UrbanDecay.com.SirenPrincesshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02897576657807023626noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6847444654692504689.post-39115306917594049442013-12-04T21:33:00.003-08:002013-12-04T21:33:26.839-08:00EbatesI had no idea Ebates was a legit way to get serious amounts of cashback. I always assumed it was a lot of work for a tiny amount of money. I am not a coupon clipper. I don't have time for that!

I was so wrong! Ebates is easy. There's hardly any questions to register. It's literally like a minute thing. Then you just start there for your shopping and earn serious amounts back. Sephora had a 10% cash back. It can put the money in your paypal account or send you a check! I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. I feel so stupid for not looking into this earlier!

And to make it worse, I keep forgetting to use it now that I have it. I finally installed the Ebates add-on to Firefox so I can't forget anymore because I seriously have forgotten and cost myself at least $45 this weekend.

If you're like me and have been putting this off or thinking it wasn't for you, you seriously need to go check this out.
It's the only skincare I've ever tried that I can tell an immediately difference in my skin, like miracle difference in my skin from the first use. I don't know how it's so amazing; I just know that it is. It's pricey, but it's worth it.

I just received a 20% off code. This stuff never usually goes on sale, so it's a deal!

Here's the promo code: HOLIDAY20. Valid Nov 25 through Dec 6.
If you're trying to decide what to try, the Transformation Face Cream moisturizer is my everyone should be using this product. How about the Urban Decay perk?

It comes with travel sizes of the vitamin prep spray, make-up setting spray, anti-aging eye primer, and a sample size eyeshadow in Mushroom.

As far as free things go, I think this set is pretty nice. I find a lot of the points perks not worth spending points on. The Dior one looks cheap to me, but this one has four items I will actually use, and seems worth the 500 points to me.

The only part I'm disappointed in is that the eyeshadow is so tiny. If you look at the outside of the box or even before you open the eyeshadow, it looks like it's a normal Urban Decay eyeshadow size, just thinner. But it's actually only a small dot of shadow. There's still plenty to use, but that's about the size of a brush, so it's going to be hard to get on the brush. I'm a little disappointed in that.

The above picture is a swatch of Urban Decay Mushroom on my pale skin. I actually really like the color. I was worried it would be too dark on this pale girl, but I think it will make a beautiful eyeshadow on me.
Here's my first bag, the November 2013 bag.

This month's bag is all about glam. The bag itself is a gold snakeskin-like bag with a hot pink zipper. It's sort of cute, but not something I personally will be using.

The products I received are:

EM Cosmetics lash gallery mascara volumizing mascara in Brown--Okay, I have mascara sensitivities and would
turn it off if I could, but I'll try it. I'm still always on the lookout
for one that will work for me. And I actually LIKE brown mascara. Considering how pale I am and that I have blond lashes, I consider brown more everyday mascara for me. I'd also pick volumizing over lengthening, so this is a good pick for me as long as it doesn't bother my eye allergies.
UPDATE--This mascara is actually good for my sensitive eyes! Only minor irritation, which is good for me. The brown looks plenty dark and blackish on me. The formula, however, does nothing for my eyes. It seemed really hard to get on. Maybe it's the brush. If you don't have mascara sensitivities, you can find something that will work a lot better.

Be a Bombshell Lip Crayon in Shameless--The formula is nice, but the color is magenta. I suppose it could be worse, but this color is too bold for me.

Nailtini in Champagne--Will go to a friend or a traveling box. I don't use nail polish because I get mine done with gel manicures at the salon. This is a very beautiful color, though, and if I used nail polish, I would love this.

Pixi Bronzer--This is a very LIGHT bronzer with a bit of sparkle. It's just right for a touch of sun for pale girls. I like this but wish it didn't have the sparkle.

Star looks gem eye pencil in Topaz--I hate eye pencils and this one is silver, SILVER. I would never wear silver eyeliner unless it was for like Halloween or Cos play maybe. This will be going in a traveling box.

BH Cosmetics Galaxy Eyeshadow Sample in Asteroid--I was so excited for this one as I love eyeshadow. Opening the box, though, the color is woah, bold and different. It's like a copper with blue veining. Not something I would ever purchase. But it doesn't seem to swatch that crazy. I'll try it. I'm a little bit excited to try it.
UPDATE--I actually love this eyeshadow! It turns into a bit of a shiny taupe when you apply it. If you pat it on, it looks a bit more silvery-blue but not really blue. If you brush it through, though, it's more of a brown taupe. It's not coppery on my eyes at all. More like a slightly lighter and more brown version of Urban Decay Mushroom. It really is a very pretty color on my eyes.

I have to keep reminding myself that this bag was only $10 compared with my Wantable box which is $36. So really I only have to like ONE product to make it worth it. I still really wish I had more options to customize this. My bag had a lot of bold color choices I'd never wear, some items I know I'd never use. That being said, I am excited to try to the EM mascara, the Pixi bronzer, and the crazy-colored eyeshadow. The fun factor alone of the surprise and seeing what you get is worth the $10 for me. But I do wish I'd gotten the Neptune eyeshadow and the Amethyst eyeliner. Oh well.
LadyKorana and I both got Darla eyeshadows in our October Wantable boxes, and we both agree that they are super easy to use. Just dot your finger on the shadow, rub it on your eye, and you're done. And it looks great on!
Mine is Thierry Mugler Angel. In theory, I should like this perfume. It's in the same category as ones I love like Dior Hypnotic Poison. I like warm spicy perfumes in general. But this one just turns to something awful on me. It smells like a mix of tobacco, spice, and dirt. There is zero sweetness whatsoever.

I'm thinking it might just be my body chemistry. I have a friend who loves this one. And it's supposed to have a cloying sweetness to it with notes I would like such as chocolate, caramel, honey, vanilla, and cotton candy with musk and amber. These are all things I like. The patchouli just greatly overpowers everything on me. I can handle mild patchouli like in Katy Perry's Killer Queen, but this is just so intense and ... nasty!

I really wanted to love this. The lovely folks at Thierry Mugler were kind enough to send me samples. They really were so nice when I asked. And I like Alien. I should like the notes of this. But even when I tried to wash it off, I washed and washed and washed and could not get the stink off of me. I guess that's good news if you like this fragrance and are looking for something that lasts a really long time.
A Rainbow Honey glitter nail polish in Koi Pond--I don't know anyone else who got this.
Sephora's having a 20% off sale for VIB and Rouge members. You should have received a coupon in the mail if you're VIB. If you are VIB and did not receive your coupon, you can use the code VIBTOPIA online to get your 20% off and a free tote bag. The code can be used as many times as you'd like.

If you're not VIB, I have 1 and only 1 share with a friend coupon I can send. I'm going to be sharing this coupon with 1 lucky reader. The first person to leave a comment with their e-mail address gets it! It's good for a one-time use of 20% off.
I went Thursday for makeovers with my mother. We went Christmas shopping for each other and had a wonderful time. My Sephora did give a few samples in their bags too. Not a ton, but some. The store was packed but they also had a ton of employees there and they were all super excited and friendly. Wonderful shopping experience!
I purchased a sample size of Botrytis Ginestet from Luckyscent for $4. Again, this is one I should like the notes of but was disappointed in. The notes are honey, fruit, amber, quince, gingerbread, grapes, and white flowers. It actually smells very vanilla to me and not too much honey. I like vanilla notes, so that's fine. But the dry down is very medicinal to me. If you're looking for a honey-scented perfume, I'd stick with Marc Jacobs Honey.
For those of you who are not familiar, this is a perfume from a small spa in France. I got mine from a company called LuckyScent in California. LuckyScent is neat because they have an awesome perfume recommendation service (seriously! this one is detailed and a person makes recommendations for you based on the very detailed and fun questionnaire) and then you can buy sample vials of the perfumes (or any of their perfumes) for $4.

Dior Hypnotic Poison is my signature scent, and I've been looking for a lighter scent that's similar to wear to work or other times when wearing strong perfume isn't appropriate. I've seen Lea recommended over and over again for anyone who loves Hypnotic Poison, so I've been dying to try it.

I have to say I'm a tiny bit disappointed. This is a very simple fragrance. Almond is one of my favorite scents. I will buy anything with almond scents. But this one is SO simple. It's almond without the sweetness or cream, no floral at all to balance. Just simple almond, musk, and vanilla. Don't get me wrong. It's not a bad scent. It actually does meet my requirement of something lighter and simpler to wear to work. But it's just ... missing something. It's definitely not Hypnotic Poison. I like it, but it just makes me wish I was wearing Hypnotic Poison. I do not think I'll be buying the full size ... but I wouldn't mind having a bottle to wear to work. It's just okay. It is soft and fades relatively quickly.
So ... how does this product compare?

First, I'm very disappointed that the lightest colors of this product are combined with the next higher color, for example W1-2. The thing I love about True Match is that it offers truly pale, pale colors in choices of warm, neutral, or cool. When you combine shades, it's not really an exact match anymore. And for a brand called True Match whose entire branding message is an exact match, I just find this totally unacceptable. There are girls out there like me who can't really get away with wearing a level 2 color.

That being said, this combo isn't quite as bad as some of the other W1-2 combos in the line I've tried.

It's #1 in the swatches above. As you can see, it's a little bit darker and yellower than I should wear. For comparison, the L'oreal True Match liquid in W1 is #3 above, so you can see how this one is darker. The combo W1-W2 L'oreal True Match cream roll-on is #6.

The foundation itself is nice and thick and moisturizing. I do like it. But it doesn't hold up all day like my Dolce & Gabanna Perfect Luminous foundation does. It's not a bad drugstore alternative, but I'd definitely rather be wearing the Dolce & Gabanna.

It was Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb. I am on a fragrance hunt to find the perfect new perfume for me, so I decided to try it. With a name like Flowerbomb, though, I was pretty nervous to do so because I hate strong floral perfumes.

I was quite surprised to find that I liked the scent of Flowerbomb. It is very floral, but it does also have a strong sweetness to it too! I like sweet scents, so I did like the smell of this.

It is very potent stuff with a wide silage and it lasts forever. It honestly lasted over 24 hours on me until I finally showered it off.

The bad part? One of the floral components of this scent set off my asthma. I kept coughing. I tried to convince myself it wasn't the perfume, but it was. I left the used container in the bathroom and I coughed myself near to death when I went back in the bathroom. So if you're sensitive to perfumes, this one is not for you!

But if you like slightly sweet floral scents, this is a very nice, high quality one.

Flowerbomb is available from Sephora at $80 for an ounce, $50 for 0.68 oz, or $29 for a rollerball.

SirenPrincessBeauty Rating C (the silage and irritant qualities could be a problem to wear this at work or in public, but if you want a long-acting floral perfume, this is for you)

All of Bobbi's lip glosses have a beautiful shimmer. They are supposed to go in order of shimmer from lip gloss to shimmer lip gloss to high shimmer lip gloss, but I haven't found a bit difference in the shimmer factor. One thing I highly dislike, though, is that the high shimmer lip glosses have some sort of mint in them. The scent is fabulous, but mint is an irritant to lips. It will make them plumper, but also makes them tingle and can overly dry them. I still love all of my Bobbi glosses, but I try not to wear the high shimmer every day for that reason.

You really can't go wrong with any of the colors. It just depends upon how warm or cool and how dark or light you want to go.

My all time favorite lip gloss of any brand ever is Bobbi Brown Glitter Lip Gloss in Nude. It's now discontinued *sob*. If anyone knows anywhere that's still selling them, let me know. That's actually one of the things I hate most about Bobbi Brown. Things are constantly being discontinued. As soon as you love something, it's gone. This product doesn't look like much swatched on my arm, but over my pinky-blue lips, it's just amazing.

All of the others I've purchased in an attempt to find something close to the glitter gloss, but none of them are quite right. They're all still great, but all a little different.

1. Rose Gold Lip Gloss--Rose Gold is a very on trend color right now. I really like this one, but it does go a bit 'brown' on my lips. Purchased by me at Saks. SirenPrincess Beauty Rating: A-

2. Naked Plum High Shimmer Lip Gloss--This is my favorite new Bobbi Brown lip gloss. It's a pinky rose color on me. The only thing stopping it from being my favorite lip gloss is the darn mint in it. Purchased by me at Bergdorf Goodman. SirenPrincess Beauty Rating: A-

3. Pink Seashell Lip Gloss--This one was recommended by the Bobbi Brown online ask an artist. You can upload a picture of yourself if you want IM with a makeup artist. This is what they suggested as a replacement for the glitter gloss. It's much pinker and paler and less brown, and there's slightly less shimmer. Not my favorite. Purchased by me from BobbiBrown.com. SirenPrincess Beauty Rating: C+

4. Sailor Lip Gloss--This one sure looks weird in the tube, but it looks good on lips. It's a sheer wash of rose color with sparkle. This is also great for layering over lipstick for a pop of gloss. This was a GWP at Bergdorf Goodman. SirenPrincess Beauty Rating: B

5. Lilac Sugar Shimmer Lip Gloss--This is by far the coolest Bobbi Brown lip gloss. I wouldn't wear it by itself as it's so lavender. But here's a tip that makes this lip gloss very useful. If you have a lipstick that is a little too warm or peachy on you, layer this lip gloss over the top and it will cool it down and give you that perfect rose color you wanted. Purchased by me at Cosmetics Company Outlet Store. SirenPrincess Beauty Rating: A- (for use over lipstick) B- as a stand alone

6. Nude Glitter Lip Gloss (discontinued)--My discontinued HG. Purchased by me a Barney's. SirenPrincess Beauty Rating: A+

7. Bellini High Shimmer Lip Gloss--This one is a bit too pale, but the shimmer is nice. This was a GWP at BobbiBrown.com. SirenPrincess Beauty Rating: B-

8. Rose Sugar Shimmer Lip Gloss--This one is a bit too dark for this pale girl. It might be good if you're a bit darker or have more pigmented lips. This was a GWP at BobbiBrown.com. SirenPrincess Beauty Rating: B-

These are all available (except my beloved Glitter Gloss) from the Bobbi Brown website for $24 each.

I don't have a lippie obsession at all. Oh no.
Here's my review:

I received Besame Classic Color Lipstick in Champagne, Darla Makeup Peepers Eyeshadow in Baby Dot, Cailyn Cosmetics Idefine Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Black, Manna Kadar Lip Glaze in Patty Cakes, Kikerland Glam Girl Tweezers, and Skiin Instant Skin Tightner and Line Filler Sample.

I think when reviewing a box, it helps to know what the person receiving it likes and doesn't like. Wantable is highly, highly customizable, which is my favorite thing about it! I have that I "love" eyeshadow, blush, lip products, and tools and that I "like" eyeliner and brows and "dislike" nails, highlighters, bronzers, and mascara. I also have mine set for more natural colors like I like.

I am really happy with this box! I love that I get products that I like and no products that I don't like. Most subscription boxes don't give you enough customization options. I did not receive a single thing I don't like. In fact, I love and would buy every single item in my box.

As far as value, it's hard to say for sure since they're all brands I'm unfamiliar with. That is the one downside to Wantable. But I like to consider what I would pay for that item without knowing anything about it other than just how I like it. The Cailyn liquid eyeliner is very similar to my favorite Stila liquid eyeliner, that I pay $20 for. Lipstick and lipglosses range $10-$30, depending upon brand, so I'd call those worth $20 for the two of them. That eyeshadow is easily worth $10. So ... I'm at at least $50 in value. Wantable boxes cost $36/month if you're on subscription. I actually got mine for $26 because I referred a friend. My refer link is here if you'd like to subscribe yourself! Note that trying to refer people is not affecting my review. I got what I got. You can see it for yourself. I like that you can customize it; I don't like that the brands are unknown names. Up to you if you'd like that or not then!

The Besame lipstick in Champagne is a nude-colored shimmer lipstick. I'd like a bit more rose in it to make it more natural on my lips, but I do like it.

I LOVE the Darla Makeup eyeshadow in Baby Dot. It's bronze colored and shimmer. I might not have immediately picked that color on my own. I do love brown eyeshadows. I buy a ton, but always want more! But bronze??? It looks great on my eyes, though! I can actually just pat my finger on this, rub it on my eyelid a bit, and have perfect eyeshadow in less than a minute. This would be a great travel product or a great busy morning product. I'm very impressed with the quality and would like to see more buy this brand. According to the packaging, Darla Makeup is free of talc, parabens, fragrance, carcinogens, petroleum, FD&C colors, & gluten. Vegan and cruelty free. Made in the USA.

I have not had a chance to try the Cailyn liquid eyeliner, but I think I will like it. It looks very similar to the Stila one that is my favorite. As long as it's black or brown, liquid, and a large size felt tip, I'll like it. This seems to meet all those criteria.

The Manna Kadar lip glaze in Patty Cakes is a peachy sheer shimmer. It will be great to toss over other lipsticks to add the glossy look I like.

I'm excited to try the Skiin Instant Skiin Tightner and Line Filler sample. I don't know if it will work, but I have a few areas I'd really like to have this kind of product for. If it works, I'd buy it. Very happy to get the opportunity to try.

And finally the tweezers. Well, they're tweezers. It seems to be an added in bonus fifth item for me. A girl can't have too many pairs of tweezers, so I'm happy to have them.

All in all, a great box for me. I'm still happy with Wantable. I love the surprise and excitement. I had a great time unboxing this with my best friend over the phone. She gets her box next week or so. So excited to see what she gets!

Lola is a floral scent. I don't care much for floral scents in general, but this one is oddly pretty good! It smells a lot like Estee Lauder Pleasures to me. I used to wear Pleasures about 10 years ago. It's a floral scent that's soft and makes you want to smell more instead of wanting to get it off your skin immediately. If you like floral scents, you'll love this one. Even thought I don't like floral scents, I like this one and would wear it. It is not overpowering (a good thing), but it unfortunately doesn't last very long at all.
